Formed in 2019, Tonewulf is an American electronic band and visual art project from the foothills of Western North Carolina, USA formed and led by producer/multi-instrumentalist Paul Gratton. Band members include drummer/percussionist Nate Bartlett, Guitarist Caleb Knight, keyboardist EZ Scott, and brass player Wil Hallman.
Influenced by groups such as Aphex Twin, Bonobo, Pretty Lights, Washed Out, and DJ Shadow, Tonewulf has released three albums of electronic music laced with downtempo beats and psychedelic vibes.

A fourth album The Heavy is anticipated to be released in fall 2024.
Musically, Tonewulf is textural and dynamic, with beats that propel urgently forward, ringing guitars, and synths which rise, transform, and murmur like a pleasant waking dream.
