Part of producing music is discovering new and interesting tones. Through engaging online I have come into contact with the Banastar, an interesting instrument that is like a 5-string banjo, bass, and guitar. (Check out this semi-hollow electric version).

By my ear, it has a twang that gives a blues/country vibe. I feel like there is kinship with the Telecaster with a woody and organic tone. Check it out yourself here, in the song “Blueprint.”

I’d love to use some samples or play one of these beautiful Banastars someday with Tonewulf music. I could hear it with some delay and reverb as a texture or as a lead instrument. What do you think?
