Why a label?

The music industry has changed an incredible amount over the past decade. While there are lots of tools available to musicians, it can be difficult to do everything yourself. After all, most musicians want to make music, not just run a social media startup! Signing to a label helps us expand our reach and connect with new outlets, forms of distribution, and form partnerships with others on the Oblong Square Records label.
